USC LION at 2012 Warrnambool Volleyball Country Championships
USC LION players Andrew Makohon (Melbourne) and Nick Semjanov (Geelong) flew the USC Lion colours as part of the Geelong representative squad that assembled to play the Victorian Volleyball Country Championships in Warrnambool on the Queens birthday long weekend (9-11June 2012).
The team assembled to honour the memory of recently passed Geelong and Victorian Volleyball legend Ivo 'John' Rosso (1934-2012).
The team played some inspired volleyball to finish the tournament undefeated and dropping only one set in the tight final which they won 3-1 (18:25, 25:13, 25:21, 25:18) against Bairnsdale. Congratulations to our USC LION boys and our close friends at Geelong Volleyball.
